Crown and Bridge
Teeth that are badly weakened by decay or trauma may require more treatment than just basic fillings. Root canals, or even ill-fitting fillings can make the tooth more susceptible to fracture and eventually total loss of the tooth. A crown covers the entire tooth, thereby preventing fracture. Chipped, cracked, weakened, or decaying teeth can often be saved with a crown. A crown will cover it completely and protect from breakage or tooth loss.
If you are missing a tooth, a bridge can be a very good option to cover the gap. A bridge is made by placing a crown on each of the individual teeth that surround the gap. The bridge is between the two crowns, which is cemented into place permanently. It is not removed like a denture.
Our crowns and bridges are made of porcelain or zirconia, and are carefully color-matched to the rest of your teeth to ensure a natural appearance.
